This is a book that should always be in your car, bag or back pocket. This book is a life companion for every stage of existence. Alan Watts does what Kant, Sarte, Nietzche and Zizek achieve in 100's of verbose pages in a third of that without all of the equivocal language. I highly recommend every person on planet earth read this book for the long overdo global paradigm shift.

Profound

One of the most profound and original takes on psychotherapy ever written. Watt's is eclectic; does not subscribe to any form of doctrinaire thinking, or world view. He's quite familiar with all the major philosophic and psychological positions; and while he finds value in many of them, he does not embrace any of them. At the same time, he was admittedly influenced by Taoism and Zen. This little book is actually very sophisticated stuff. It's not for everyone. I think it requires some background from the reader in philosophy, world religion, and psychological theory to get the most from this book.
